Merging Art & Our Love For Horticulture
We are passionate about connecting people to plants. Our team comes from all corners of the plant-world as well as from creative endeavors and the arts. Merging these passions is what makes our work unique and allows us to pull from a science-informed background and push it into a creative flow, producing well-informed plant choices, habitat, watering needs, and lifestyle cohesion all packaged into an arresting garden display.

We understand everything in this world is connected, and you and your garden are no exception! We truly look forward to bringing you and your outdoor space into happy cohesion.
Our Founder
Heather Gorawski
Growing up in New England, I was surrounded by the natural world from the very start. My father ran his own landscaping business, which meant I spent much of my childhood outdoors, in the dirt. Over time my curiosity and love for plants, gardens, and wild spaces only deepened, drawing me further into the living world.
In my twenties, this passion led me across Europe, Central, and South America, where I explored diverse growing habits, ecosystems, and climates. During my travels, I immersed myself in regenerative agriculture, learning from families and businesses alike. I also managed off-grid properties, hosted international groups, cared for a large herd of horses and built meaningful connections with people who shared my devotion along the way.
Back home, I worked with plant nurseries, and with design and build firms. I pursued formal education, earning a second degree in Landscape Architecture and a Landscape Horticulture Certificate. My learning never stops — I continue to deepen my knowledge through seminars, workshops, and hands-on experiences. I’m an active member of numerous horticultural groups, serve on the board of the California Horticultural Society, and regularly collaborate with local plant-focused communities.
Woven throughout these experiences is my love of art, connection, and outdoor adventure. I’ve managed art galleries, organized summer art festivals, and balanced my creative pursuits with time spent backpacking, paddleboarding, and slacklining. At the heart of it all is my desire to foster relationships — with people, plants, and place — and to contribute positively wherever I can.
For me, landscaping isn’t just about designing beautiful spaces; it’s about creating living, breathing environments that bring people, nature, and art together. That’s what fuels my work and continues to inspire everything I do.
