How is horticultural garden care different from traditional landscaping?
Horticultural garden care goes beyond traditional mowing, blowing, and trimming. How often would you come to maintain my garden?
Every garden is unique, and maintenance frequency depends on its size, complexity, plant varieties, and seasonal needs. Some gardens benefit from weekly visits, while others may only need attention once a quarter. We’ll work with you to establish a maintenance schedule that supports the health of your garden while aligning with your preferences and budget.
Do I need to be home during your visits?
Not necessarily! After out initial visit and once we've become familiar with your garden and have access to the areas we'll be working in, you're welcome to go about your day. We'll communicate with you whenever questions or decisions arise.
Do you provide plants, compost, mulch, and other garden materials?
Yes! We can source and deliver plants, soil amendments, mulch, fertilizers, and other materials needed for your garden. These are billed separately from maintenance labor.
How do we prepare for your visits?
To help us make the most of our time in your garden, we ask that you clear away any pet waste, toys, or other items from the areas where we'll be working. Please also make sure garden spaces are accessible and any green waste bins are available for our team to use.
If you have any questions, special requests, or areas you'd like us to focus on, feel free to send us a note ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. We'll send you a friendly reminder email seven days before each scheduled visit!
How does payment work?
We send invoices following each garden visit, making it easy to review the services provided. Payment can be made by cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or ACH bank transfer, whichever is most convenient for you.
